This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies such as fires, power outages, gas leaks, water leaks, and other critical incidents within the facility.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery following established schedules.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
• Supervise renovation and remodeling projects in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
• Interpret and utilize engineering drawings and principles in maintenance and repair tasks.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination using two-way radio systems during operational activities.
• Vocational or technical school training, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities engineering or related maintenance preferred.
• Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings and applying engineering principles to maintenance and repair tasks.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
• Competence in the safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
• Strong understanding of relevant safety standards and equipment operation protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including coordination via two-way radio systems.
• Ability to respond efficiently to emergency situations and critical facility incidents.
• Capability to stand and walk throughout assigned shifts, and to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to acquire and maintain all necessary certifications and licenses pertinent to the position.
