Externship Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure the prompt placement of eligible students at suitable externship locations.

• Oversee communication with students and externship sites to streamline the placement process.

• Maintain and grow a nationwide network of externship partners.

• Assist students in navigating externship policies, procedures, and expectations.

• Offer tailored, professional support throughout the externship experience and act as the primary point of contact for any externship-related inquiries or issues.

• Respond swiftly to student questions and maintain regular communication until the completion of the externship.

• Collect, assess, and document necessary externship materials and performance evaluations.

• Monitor and analyze feedback from students and externship partners to enhance the externship experience.

• Provide insights to leadership to drive improvements.

• Accurately input student data into the placement CRM and other systems.

• Collaborate with academic, learner success, instructional, product, and technology teams.

• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) in placement rates, communication metrics, and student satisfaction.

• Contribute to team initiatives and overarching organizational objectives.

• Assist with appointments and other academic responsibilities as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

• Experience within a healthcare education ecosystem.

• Familiarity with supporting a Learning Management System (LMS).

• Background in Allied healthcare job and externship placement programs.

• All employees must reside and perform work within the United States.

• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.

• Ability to thrive in a remote, video-based culture and be on camera during meetings unless there are extenuating circumstances.

• Successful completion of relevant pre-employment screening requirements.

• Completion of employment eligibility verification through Form I-9, which may include in-person identity verification with an authorized representative.
