This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Prepare applications for export licenses, which include Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements, DSP-5, and SNAP-R licenses.

• Assist U.S. facilities of TTM in utilizing the U.S. Customs ACE Portal System.

• Ensure adherence to ITAR, OFAC, EAR, Census, and other regulations set by the U.S. government.

• Conduct watch list screenings utilizing the TTM Export Management System (OCR).

• Collaborate with Programs, Contracts, Customer Service, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, and HR to uphold export compliance specific to various functions.

• Identify and rectify any gaps in export compliance.

• Coordinate with global sites to ensure adherence to regulations relevant to non-U.S. locations.

• Review contractual terms and conditions related to exports.

• Support and engage in investigations of non-compliance issues.

• Draft and submit requests for export classification, including CJs and CCATS.

• Review and authorize requests for foreign travel and visitors.

• Draft and implement Technology Control Plans for specific programs or facilities.

• Accurately apply HTSUS codes for USC&BP.

• Review and approve international export activities from TTM North American facilities.


⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree in a Business Discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience with an ITAR registered defense contractor.

• A minimum of 5 years in the role of an Empowered Official (22 C.F.R. §120.62).

• Extensive knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations.

• Familiarity with and application of USC&BP HTS Codes/HTSUS codes.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Capability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Must adhere to TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures, as well as ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and other export-control laws.

• Ability to identify ITAR products and comprehend access restrictions for U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents.

• Ability to recognize Foreign Person visitors through badge differentiation.

• Understanding of authorization processes for foreign visitors entering facilities.

• Knowledge of export and ITAR requirements for shipments departing the U.S.

• Ability to manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
