Experienced Tax Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare tax returns remotely while collaborating with Client Service Associates in various offices.

• Communicate effectively with Client Service Associates to collect information and ensure the accurate and efficient preparation of returns.

• Provide assistance to tax professionals regarding tax-related inquiries.

• Help address holds, rejects, and issues related to return management.

• Troubleshoot questions related to Jackson Hewitt software and processes.

• Support and mentor tax professionals of diverse experience levels.

• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to assist offices throughout the tax season.

• Provide support to Jackson Hewitt offices and clients as part of the remote team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Jackson Hewitt is required.

• PTIN Certification is mandatory.

• Must be friendly and comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues.

• Experience as a General Manager or Area Manager is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of Jackson Hewitt tax software, systems, and processes is essential.

• Proven experience in preparing and troubleshooting complex tax returns.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are necessary.

• Ability to work independently while actively participating as part of a remote team.

• Must be dependable, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Full-time availability is required during the tax season.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet is necessary.

• Must have consistent cell phone service.

• A quiet and professional workspace is required.

• Must be consistently available and responsive during scheduled hours.
