This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Offer financial planning and advisory services to executives of Fidelity’s Workplace Investing clients.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with executives and management leaders from workplace benefit plan clients.
• Act as the main financial planning resource for executives who typically possess $3 million or less in combined workplace and retail assets.
• Assist with less complex planning requirements, including college funding, savings strategies, and early retirement planning.
• Collaborate with Managing Directors, Benefits Planning Consultants, Benefits Relationship Managers, and other professionals within Executive Services.
• Refer executives with higher asset levels or more complex planning needs to Vice President, Executive Planning Consultants.
• Cultivate and strengthen executive relationships through ongoing advice and mentorship.
• Provide tailored financial planning, retirement income strategies, investment strategies, and product recommendations specifically for executive clients.
• Integrate executive benefits and plan provisions into holistic financial plans.
• Build and expand a portfolio of business through referrals, seminars, and workplace-sponsored events.
• Identify, pursue, and follow up on opportunities to accumulate additional client assets.
• Demonstrate Fidelity's products and services to cater to executive requirements and enhance client engagement and conversion.
• Develop a thorough understanding of client companies’ cultures, executive populations, and benefit plans.
• Assist clients in comprehending the financial implications of benefit modifications.
• Address executives’ immediate and long-term needs through personalized advice, planning, and guidance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
• Series 7 and 66 licenses are mandatory.
• Insurance license is required or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation is encouraged.
• CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation is encouraged.
• Experience working with executives and their employee benefit plans.
• Proven ability to understand clients’ distinct financial situations and suggest suitable solutions.
• Strong knowledge in brokerage, insurance, investment management, estate planning, financial planning, and retirement planning.
• Capability to incorporate Fidelity’s planning, guidance, and service technology while navigating complex regulatory and licensing requirements.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Outstanding presentation abilities in both individual and group environments.
• Strategic mindset with the capability to influence executive decision-making.
• Strong skills in practice, territory, and project management with a history of effective execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as necessary.
