Executive Director – Global Client Delivery, Biotech

📋 Description

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Biotech Project Management organization, encompassing Global Study Manager, Study Design Lead, and Regional Study Coordinator roles.

• Build, lead, and cultivate a high-performing team by attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.

• Drive workforce planning and ensure organizational readiness for current operations and future growth.

• Ensure effective resource utilization and compliance with budget commitments.

• Lead strategic resource planning and allocation across the portfolio.

• Ensure governance, standardization, and ongoing evolution of project management processes and operating models.

• Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational strategies, business plans, and transformation initiatives.

• Enhance Project Management capabilities, best practices, and cross-business collaboration.

• Promote continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.

• Evaluate, adopt, and optimize technology, automation, digital tools, and AI-driven solutions.

• Act as a change leader for technology adoption and transformation initiatives.

• Identify business growth opportunities, service enhancements, and strategic initiatives.

• Foster a client-centric culture focused on quality outcomes, proactive risk management, and service enhancement.

• Collaborate across the organization to resolve issues and implement scalable solutions.

• Serve as a senior leader and trusted partner across Labcorp business units.

• Represent the Project Management organization with internal and external executive stakeholders.

• Define and execute the vision and strategy for GSM, SDL, and RSC functions.

• Lead global program delivery, operational performance, cross-functional integration, and client-centric delivery for biotech clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Four (4) year degree.

• 7 or more years of experience in people leadership, specifically leading leaders.

• 7 or more years of experience in central lab services or the large pharma/biotech industry.

• 5 or more years of experience in change management.

• 5 or more years of experience in building client relationships.

• Preferred: Master’s Degree.

• Preferred: 5 or more years of experience in project management within a central lab environment.

• Preferred: 3 or more years of experience in driving technology transformation (automation, AI, process optimization).

• Demonstrated strong customer service skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to engage, influence, and inspire staff at all levels of the organization.

• Inclusive and engaging presentation and communication skills.

• Proven leadership development capabilities.

• Initiative and capacity to work collaboratively.

• Ability to inspire effective teamwork and motivate staff in a multi-regional matrixed environment.

• Proven track record of setting strategic goals for large organizations and driving their implementation.

• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
