This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Oversee CollegeSpring's overall achievements across Florida.
β’ Enhance impact by securing philanthropic and earned funding, forging strategic alliances, expanding into new territories, and ensuring outstanding program execution.
β’ Formulate and implement the regional growth strategy.
β’ Identify new school districts, nonprofit entities, institutions of higher education, and funding avenues.
β’ Build and nurture relationships with foundations, corporations, government bodies, major donors, and strategic partners.
β’ Serve as CollegeSpring's representative across Florida to education leaders, policymakers, funders, and community organizations.
β’ Lead, mentor, and develop the Florida regional team.
β’ Collaborate with district and organizational leaders on tailored implementation strategies and successful program rollouts.
β’ Partner with national teams in Program, Advancement, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Operations.
β’ Track regional performance, partner feedback, and student outcomes through data analysis.
β’ Develop and oversee regional budgets, revenue projections, and financial performance.
β’ Ensure effective alignment of regional operations, personnel, and resources.
β’ Report to the Chief Executive Officer and participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
β’ Travel regularly across Florida, including day trips and occasional overnight stays; up to 10% additional overnight and out-of-state travel may be necessary.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Public Administration, Public Policy, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline.
β’ Over 15 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in education, nonprofit, public sector, or a related field.
β’ Proven track record in driving organizational growth through strategic partnerships, business development, or market expansion.
β’ Demonstrated fundraising proficiency, including cultivation of foundations, corporations, government entities, and/or major donors.
β’ Experience fostering executive-level relationships with school districts, nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, foundations, corporations, or government agencies.
β’ Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
β’ Strong financial and business acumen, with experience in budgeting, revenue forecasting, and meeting financial objectives.
β’ Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building.
β’ Proven ability to think strategically while executing operationally in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
β’ Strong commitment to educational equity and belief in the potential for all students to achieve high standards.
β’ Preferred: Experience with K-12 school systems, charter organizations, institutions of higher education, or statewide education initiatives.
β’ Preferred: Familiarity with Florida's K-12 education landscape, funding mechanisms, and policy environment.
β’ Preferred: Experience leading regional or statewide nonprofit operations.
β’ Preferred: Existing connections within Florida's education, philanthropic, nonprofit, or business sectors.
β’ Must be capable of standing or sitting for extended periods.
β’ Must be able to lift, carry, or transport educational or promotional materials and/or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
