This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Provide support to one VP within the Central Customer Experience team, with the possibility of additional support to a Director.
• Oversee and prioritize the VP’s calendar, meetings, and attendees.
• Collaborate with the communications team to coordinate the VP’s speaking engagements.
• Plan and organize meetings, which includes preparing agendas, determining locations, arranging meeting technology, managing logistics, creating briefing documents, taking notes, and tracking action items.
• Assemble travel packs for international trips and significant domestic events.
• Serve as an authorized proxy for communications and approvals.
• Address general inquiries, direct routine matters, and ensure follow-up on completions.
• Resolve issues in accordance with policies and guidelines while mentoring members of the administrative community.
• Arrange global travel and optimize itineraries while overseeing Cisco expenses.
• Coordinate with airlines to secure available Global Services upgrades.
• Offer analytical support for executive special projects, including conducting research, problem analysis, data compilation, and report preparation.
• Prepare and brief itineraries and accompany the VP at significant corporate events like GSX.
• Manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an administrative setting.
• At least 2 years of experience providing support to a principal at the director level or higher.
• Expert-level proficiency in Windows desktop applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated experience in calendar management, meeting planning, and travel coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to engage with executive/senior staff and clients across all levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills combined with independent judgment.
• Highest level of integrity and the ability to balance strategic and tactical actions.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in handling confidential information.
• Initiative, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaborative working skills.
• Previous experience in the high-tech industry is desirable.
• Prior experience with Cisco is preferred.
• An associate's degree is preferred.
