This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the overarching strategy for Stripe’s global executive advisory initiatives, encompassing purpose, target audience, operational framework, and the interplay among global, regional, segment, and emerging programs.
• Oversee and enhance Stripe’s global Customer Advisory Board, which includes strategies for member recruitment, executive involvement, agenda creation, meeting execution, and continuous programming throughout the year.
• Formulate a standardized playbook for regional and segment teams to establish effective advisory councils while ensuring consistent quality and alignment with Stripe’s broader initiatives.
• Recognize, initiate, and nurture new executive advisory programs that respond to evolving customer requirements and align with Stripe’s strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with leaders in Product and Product Marketing to identify key strategic topics, translate customer priorities into meaningful discussions, and channel insights to relevant teams for action.
• Guide cross-functional planning efforts that engage Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and external partners.
• Define and assess the impact of the program, focusing on member engagement, quality of feedback and activation, development of executive relationships, and influence on Stripe’s strategic decisions.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience in creating and managing executive advisory boards, councils, or similar programs for a global organization, including the establishment of program strategy and operation from recruitment through to follow-up.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and other senior leaders, effectively representing the organization in executive contexts.
• Experience in managing complex, cross-functional programs and clearly defining roles and responsibilities among teams with related or overlapping functions.
• Capability to comprehend technical products and concepts, discern their implications for customers, and link executive feedback to product and business priorities.
• Experience in designing and executing high-touch executive events with a strong focus on member experience, content, logistics, and follow-up actions.
• Preferred: background in developing interconnected global, regional, or segment-based advisory programs.
• Preferred: experience in creating systems to synthesize qualitative customer feedback, directing it to appropriate teams, and evaluating its impact on decision-making.
• Preferred: familiarity with working alongside product, marketing, sales, customer success, solutions, and events teams within a global technology organization.
• Preferred: knowledge of financial infrastructure, payments, software platforms, or another technically complex industry.
