This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and participate in every aspect of the executive search process, encompassing business development, administration, candidate sourcing and recruitment, client communication, interview facilitation, agreement assistance, testimonials, as well as 90-day and 180-day follow-ups.
• Collaborate with Career Services leadership to continuously enhance PGA ExecuSearch.
• Assess and improve operational procedures related to the Executive Search process.
• Establish partnerships with Career Consultants, PGA Section staff, leadership from allied associations, golf clubs, golf operators, and national employers.
• Advocate for PGA Executive Search services and solutions aimed at management-level recruitment.
• Promote initiatives in staff development, board education, and advisory services within facilities.
• Create and deliver educational programs for PGA members, industry professionals, employers, and section staff.
• Represent and promote the PGA of America and PGA Professionals at industry events and trade shows.
• Work alongside the Education Department to revise and enhance coursework offerings based on employer feedback.
• Foster effective communication and strategic alignment throughout MSO initiatives.
• Exemplify the organization's shared values and address cultural challenges and opportunities.
• Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team atmosphere.
• Manage the ExecuSearch budget and track performance outcomes.
• This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, Professional Golf Management, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
• A minimum of five years of experience as a Head Golf Professional, Director of Golf, General Manager, or similar management role within the golf industry, or a combination of these experiences.
• Five years of experience in team management.
• Extensive leadership experience in the golf industry, demonstrating the ability to cultivate industry relationships.
• Strong knowledge of both PGA and CMAA educational frameworks.
• Advanced PGA and CMAA certifications are preferred.
• A PGA Member with at least five years of membership is preferred.
• Familiarity with the golf industry and/or operations of golf facilities, employment, and/or recruiting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a multi-functional work environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire and manage professionals to achieve desired outcomes.
• Proficiency in customer service and/or sales skills.
• In-depth understanding of administrative principles and procedures.
• Capability to lead various projects and programs.
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and concepts.
• Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and the capacity to evaluate financial and strategic impacts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others and secure cross-functional support.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• This position does not qualify for immigration sponsorship.
