
Events Operations Lead – Mexico

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take ownership of the annual event schedule consisting of around 55 events and make adjustments as priorities change each quarter.
• Oversee the complete execution and logistics of events, including booth construction, marketing materials, registration, exhibitor profiles, access passes, VAT management, procurement, shipping, and promotional items.
• Manage event agreements, contracts, invoicing, and reconcile out-of-pocket expenses using Ramp.
• Facilitate communication between sales and event teams through dedicated Slack channels and approval processes.
• Assemble and direct onsite event teams.
• Collaborate with data/operations on submitting pre-event lead lists and routing leads after events.
• Gather and monitor post-event feedback, survey results, sales input, and lead quality metrics.
• Provide briefings to creative/design leads regarding booth and print materials alongside the Content & Social Lead.
• Co-manage and continually enhance the event operations playbook/SOP.
• Act as the operational foundation for WeTravel's presence at field events.
• Practical B2B field-event experience, including managing booths, vendor relationships, and logistics under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong organizational and coordination capabilities.
• Experience in developing calendars and operational systems.
• Proficient in handling contracts, invoicing, and expense reconciliation.
• Ability to manage sales approval processes and coordinate onsite teams effectively.
• Skilled in creating repeatable systems and documenting procedures.
• Willingness to travel for work-related events once or twice a year.
• Full legal authorization to work in Mexico through citizenship or residency.
• No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is provided.

• Full-time, Fixed Term Contract (International Contractor).
