ETRM Functional Analyst – Risk Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the Risk Operations division, particularly in the Crude & Products commodities sector.

• Assist in fulfilling Global Risk Reporting obligations.

• Utilize analytical tools, mainly SAP HANA.

• Collaborate with business partners on ongoing projects and enhancements.

• Contribute to the expansion of the Trading business.

• Address critical issues and support risk management and trading processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with an ERP system.

• Ability to respond swiftly to changes and take a proactive stance in resolving critical issues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in SAP.

• Excellent communication skills, with a strong command of English.

• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and business analysis methodologies.

• Understanding of contract document flows and logistics execution for receipts (settlement).

• Capability to read and debug code (SQL, Java, etc.) for troubleshooting purposes.

• Experience with integration or middleware tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Qlik, and webMethods.

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodologies.

• Practical understanding of the trading lifecycle, from pre-trade negotiations to the accounting settlement process.

• 1–4 years of experience with an ETRM system, concentrating on risk management and trading operations (profit and loss, price exposure, value at risk, etc.).

• Experience with SAP HANA, Snowflake, Power BI, Oracle, or similar data analytics tools.

• Practical knowledge of data analytics processes, including visualization techniques, stored procedures, data modeling, and table functions.
