Estimator – Concrete Division

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Analyze RFPs to assess the company's interest in various pursuits.

• Conduct quantity take-offs and review documents for cost estimation.

• Request bids and proposals from vendors.

• Confirm scopes and evaluate bids from vendors and suppliers.

• Prepare proposals and take part in bid reviews and pre-award meetings.

• Assist with project transition after award.

• Perform job walks to examine field conditions that may influence construction activities and potential bids.

• Negotiate bids to secure competitive pricing from vendors and suppliers.

• Provide support to the Senior Estimator and Preconstruction Manager as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or a closely related field).

• Four years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least two years of experience in cost estimating for successful large commercial self-perform concrete projects.

• Ability to work extended hours as needed by project schedules or urgent circumstances.

• Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time (both in-state and out-of-state).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and CMiC is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Sage Estimating and Planswift is a plus.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective planning and resource management skills.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
