This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver remote, on-demand paralegal assistance for estate planning and probate administration in Texas.
• Draft and create wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and various estate planning documents.
• Prepare probate petitions, inventories, accountings, notices, affidavits, and other relevant court filings.
• Oversee probate cases from the initial filing to the final distribution and closure of the estate.
• Collect and organize estate assets, financial documents, and necessary supporting materials.
• Collaborate with executors, administrators, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court officials.
• Coordinate court filings, hearings, document execution, and deadlines associated with probate administration.
• Handle multiple active cases utilizing case management and calendaring systems.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, specifically in Texas estate planning and probate administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Texas probate procedures, court regulations, and filing prerequisites.
• Proven experience in drafting and preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related estate planning documents.
• Experience with preparing probate petitions, inventories, accountings, notices, affidavits, and corresponding court filings.
• Ability to manage probate matters from the initial filing to the final distribution and estate closure.
• Proficient in gathering and organizing estate assets, financial records, and supportive documentation.
• Strong client communication skills, including interaction with executors, administrators, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and court personnel.
• Experience in coordinating court filings, hearings, document execution, and deadlines for probate administration.
• Excellent case management and calendaring abilities to manage multiple ongoing matters effectively.
• Familiarity with Texas e-filing processes and legal case management software.
• Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail and strong drafting capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and proactively advancing matters with minimal oversight.
