This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver thorough legal support to corporate attorneys, concentrating on the maintenance of corporate entities, drafting contracts, and ensuring compliance.
• Serve as a liaison among company attorneys, outside counsel, regulatory agencies, and internal personnel.
• Gather, organize, and interpret data from legal digests, encyclopedias, and practice manuals.
• Compile, proofread, and revise contracts, leases, licenses, and insurance agreements.
• Prepare and submit legal documents to external entities and regulatory organizations.
• Conduct research for specific projects assigned by corporate attorneys.
• Evaluate corporate procedures to ensure adherence to industry regulations and laws.
• Aid internal teams in reviewing legal documents to pinpoint obligations and risks.
• Inform attorneys and stakeholders about the progress and status of active cases.
• Support intellectual property issues, including patent documentation and applications.
• Employ legal AI tools and agentic workflows to enhance document review, legal research, and daily operations.
• A valid Paralegal certification is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in a law office or in-house legal department.
• Proficient understanding of office automation equipment and legal software/tools relevant to paralegal and compliance tasks.
• Knowledge of, or a strong desire to learn, emerging legal AI technologies and agentic software solutions.
• Excellent proofreading and editing capabilities for sensitive legal documents like contracts and licenses.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
