This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate virtual meetings with clients to collect information, clarify objectives, and present customized estate planning solutions.
• Prepare and review wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and other related estate planning documents.
• Lead meetings with clients and advisors.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, internal team members, and a network of of-counsel attorneys across all 50 states.
• Keep updated on federal and state laws regarding estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
• Provide guidance to clients on asset titling, beneficiary designations, and trust funding.
• Establish and nurture relationships with financial advisors and their leadership teams.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and advisors in a prompt and professional manner.
• Juris Doctor degree from a recognized law school.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with at least one state bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate and trust planning.
• Strong understanding of estate planning and trust funding.
• Experience in high-net-worth planning is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to convey complex planning concepts clearly.
• Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, drafting, and writing abilities.
• Comfort in a technology-driven legal practice.
