
ESL Teacher, Part-Time – Adult Learners

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Instruct adult professionals in English through engaging small-group sessions utilizing immersive technology.
• Lead structured communicative English lessons.
• Support learners in navigating realistic situations such as meetings, travel experiences, cafés, and professional interactions.
• Offer constructive feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and fluency.
• Conduct sessions lasting 40 minutes each.
• Maintain proactive communication with the instructional team.
• Provide weekly availability for scheduling across various global time zones.
• Teach up to 20 hours each week.
• A Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree along with an English teaching certification (such as a 120-hour TESOL certificate/CELTA or equivalent) and substantial teaching experience.
• At least 2 years of structured ESL teaching experience.
• Experience in teaching adult learners in group environments of 8 or more students.
• A strong foundation in communicative or task-based language teaching methodologies.
• Proven ability to intentionally develop speaking and listening skills.
• C1 English proficiency (CEFR) or Advanced High (ACTFL) equivalent or higher.
• Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new platforms.
• Organized, dependable, and professional.
• Must have a Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) PC.
• Intel i5-1135G7 / AMD Ryzen 5 5500U or higher.
• Intel Iris Xe / AMD Vega 7 or better graphics.
• 8GB of RAM.
• At least 10GB of available storage.
• An Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi-only setups are not acceptable.
• Minimum internet speeds of 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
• A wired headset with an integrated microphone.
• Candidates must reside in an eligible U.S. location; applicants from California, Oregon, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, Illinois, and Washington are ineligible for hire.
