Escrow Servicing Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Execute escrow servicing tasks throughout the loan lifecycle, from acquisition to ongoing servicing and transfer of services.

• Oversee service delivery, productivity, and quality benchmarks for tax, insurance, and insurance claims.

• Accurately and promptly process escrow-related documents and disbursements.

• Investigate exceptions and handle off-cycle requests.

• Carry out general maintenance of escrow accounts and conduct escrow analyses.

• Research and address internal customer inquiries and requests.

• Resolve issues and assess whether additional loans may be affected.

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and legal standards, including investor and state guidelines.

• Process and track departmental reporting requirements and workflows.

• Accurately complete reports and assigned tasks within deadlines.

• Perform basic mathematical calculations associated with escrow servicing.

• Maintain precise records of escrow disbursements.

• Conduct quality assessments, including reviews of insurance and tax documents, and verify information obtained from tax assessors and other relevant sources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mortgage setting, ideally within Mortgage Loan Servicing.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Capability to execute escrow servicing functions throughout the loan lifecycle.

• Skill in monitoring service delivery, productivity, and quality standards for tax, insurance, and insurance claims.

• Proficiency in processing escrow-related documents and disbursements accurately and in a timely manner.

• Ability to investigate exceptions and manage off-cycle requests.

• Competence in general escrow account maintenance and conducting escrow analyses.

• Capacity to evaluate pertinent factors, resolve issues, and identify whether other loans may be affected.

• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal requirements, including investor and state guidelines.

• Proficiency in processing and monitoring departmental reporting requirements and workflows.

• Basic skills in mathematical calculations pertinent to escrow servicing.

• Ability to keep accurate records of escrow disbursements.

• Proficiency in conducting quality reviews of insurance and tax documents, and validating information from tax assessors and other relevant sources.
