EPIC Interface Analyst, Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Develop efficient and high-quality interface applications while crafting logical program code.

• Compose clear and concise system descriptions that align with project specifications.

• Examine interface-related business and system requirements for new or modified requests.

• Assess the impacts of interfaces and document necessary configuration and build modifications.

• Analyze business requirements and processes, offering solutions and estimating development efforts.

• Collaborate with team members to discuss application functionalities, workflow needs, and requirements.

• Act as the primary contact for assigned interfaces, overseeing analysis calls, requirements documentation, issue escalation, and interface code configuration/build modifications.

• Coordinate or support interface testing and validation processes.

• Resolve production and testing/validation interface issues as well as related application challenges.

• Generate error-code frequency reports, investigate errors and their root causes, and suggest or implement solutions.

• Create or document interface specifications.

• Develop HL7 field and sub-field mapping documents utilizing Epic and other system values.

• Execute configuration/build modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of programming experience or 3 years of FMOLHS IS system experience; a Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field can replace 2 years of programming experience.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Familiarity with HL7 standards and experience with interface engines.
