EPIC Application Analyst 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the development of vision, design solutions, provide standards guidance, scope projects, integrate IS strategy, and implement high-quality Epic systems efficiently.

• Assess technology, systems, and application capabilities; analyze workflows and data flows; and devise effective, logical solutions.

• Plan, schedule, review, and conduct analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of assigned technology and application systems.

• Engage in solution testing and document clear, concise system descriptions that align with project requirements and departmental quality standards.

• Apply organizational project management methodologies, processes, and systems to ensure the efficient development and completion of projects.

• Assess programming requests and provide timelines for completion.

• Collaborate with FMOLHS Information Services, leadership, team members, and end users to create cost-effective, efficient technology and application system specifications.

• Design and implement data-driven methodologies for performance improvement.

• Keep precise records to evaluate organizational performance.

• Identify opportunities to enhance current services and consult with management regarding issues and challenges.

• Safeguard the security, integrity, and privacy of FMOLHS data in line with established policies and procedures.

• Stay updated on industry trends by participating in relevant seminars, workshops, professional conferences, and engaging with professional organizations.

• Employ IS project management methodologies and best practices to enhance both individual and organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Epic Certified analyst and 5 years of experience in IS System Applications, or alternatively, 7 years of experience in healthcare, clinical, or business operations.

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of experience as a licensed healthcare clinical professional, or in business operations or information systems.

• EPIC Certification is required.

• Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.

• Proficient oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to work under occasional pressure from multiple calls and inquiries.

• Ability to manage frequent interruptions.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Frequent use of hands and fingers is necessary.

• Good visual and hearing acuity is required.

• Primarily sedentary work environment.
