This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.
• Propel new business expansion by identifying, nurturing, and securing strategic partnership opportunities within sponsorship, advertising, research, events, executive engagement, and other AMA assets.
• Establish and oversee a robust sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and market analysis.
• Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Create consultative partnership solutions that align with client business goals.
• Work collaboratively throughout the organization to develop, deliver, and enhance partnership opportunities.
• Provide market insights that inform future growth strategies.
• Cultivate long-term partner relationships by demonstrating ROI, identifying growth opportunities, and facilitating renewals.
• Keep precise records in Salesforce, including forecasts, proposals, contracts, and other sales documentation.
• 5–7+ years of experience in B2B consultative sales, partnerships, or business development with a proven history of closing new business.
• Proficiency in prospecting, pipeline development, and managing opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
• Experience in selling sponsorships, media, advertising, events, research, or marketing solutions.
• Background in selling to enterprise organizations or Fortune 1000 companies.
• Exceptional relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive-level stakeholders.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience utilizing Salesforce or another CRM to manage pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Highly self-driven with an entrepreneurial attitude and a proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting persuasive client proposals.
• Residency in Alabama, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin is required.
