Enterprise Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee large-scale, enterprise-level initiatives related to cloud adoption, AI strategy, migrations, and transformation.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, senior leadership, and internal teams.

• Establish strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

• Create detailed project roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.

• Guide cross-functional teams comprising architects, developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.

• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes; escalate when necessary and maintain mitigation strategies.

• Supervise project budgets and resource distribution.

• Ensure project outputs meet quality standards and client expectations.

• Promote continuous improvement practices within the team and with clients.

• Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status, milestones, risks, and issues.

• Maintain program documentation, including status reports, dashboards, and post-mortem analyses.

• Collaborate with external vendors, cloud providers, and third-party partners.

• Support account success, including opportunities for expansion or extension.

• Facilitate and lead Steering Committee and Quarterly Business Reviews.

• Travel up to 25% based on business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise project management, including a minimum of 5 years in the IT/cloud consulting sector.

• Experience with enterprise-level clients is essential.

• Prior management of technical engagements involving 10 or more individuals, with multiple project workstreams and budgets exceeding $5M.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in project management disciplines, methodologies, and tools.

• Capability to develop complex, multi-year client roadmaps.

• Experience in leading client Agile transformations and customizing project management approaches to fit client capabilities and needs.

• Proficient in communicating effectively to all levels within a client organization, including both business and technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, risks, and teams successfully.

• Strong financial acumen for forecasting, planning, and reporting.

• Must have current legal authorization to work in the country where this position is located; Caylent is unable to sponsor visa or work permit applications.

• Preferred: Project Management certifications such as PMP or CAPM.

• Preferred: Agile Certification including CSM, PSM, or CSP.

• Preferred: Cloud platform certifications such as AWS Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals.

• Preferred: Artificial Intelligence platform certifications like Claude Certified Associate (Foundations) or equivalent.

• Preferred: Practical experience managing cloud services projects, particularly on AWS.
