This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Act as the General Manager overseeing a selection of 5–10 key partners.
• Establish and uphold consistent communication routines with partners.
• Deliver proactive internal updates regarding partner status.
• Foster trustworthy relationships and comprehend partner business objectives across various stakeholders.
• Advise on partners’ payroll operations by identifying obstacles, suggesting strategies, and crafting strategic execution plans.
• Serve as a reliable advisor to help partners maximize the benefits of Check.
• Manage all stages of the post-sales partner lifecycle, from launch to milestone establishment and renewal discussions.
• Define shared success metrics and KPIs that align with both partner and Check's revenue and growth objectives.
• Communicate partner requirements and challenges to cross-functional teams.
• Develop communication strategies for releases, roadmap updates, compliance notifications, and incident management.
• Introduce and execute new products and features, assess their success, and coordinate feedback with partners and Product teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Marketing, Enablement, Product, and other internal and external groups.
• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a relevant field.
• Over 5 years of pertinent work experience.
• Experience in the SaaS industry; familiarity with fintech or payroll is advantageous.
• Background in strategic growth or consulting.
• Experience in post-sales partner/account management or enhancing existing accounts.
• Proven track record in managing a portfolio of customer or partner relationships with intricate technical and product needs.
• Awareness of AI tools and a desire to improve partner workflows.
• Capability to navigate enterprise partner organizations and cultivate significant relationships.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts succinctly during partner calls, escalation discussions, and executive meetings.
• Adaptability and quick learning ability while managing multiple priorities and projects.
• Proficiency or familiarity with Zendesk, Google Workspace, Notion, and similar software tools.
• Strong documentation abilities and experience in maintaining organized CRM notes.
• Willingness to travel for team on-site meetings 1–2 times a year and occasional partner visits, averaging once per quarter as required.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.; Check is an E-Verify participant.
