Enterprise AI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the integration of enterprise AI across IRIS Software Group.

• Oversee the enterprise AI toolset from a Group IT viewpoint, which includes Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Agent Studios, MCPs, approved connectors, and configuration standards.

• Evaluate new enterprise AI technologies, platform features, and releases for their suitability, risks, value, and readiness for deployment.

• Define, uphold, and govern central configuration standards for enterprise AI platforms.

• Establish and manage standards for agents created by departments, covering ownership, data boundaries, approvals, testing, documentation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.

• Govern MCPs, connectors, and integrations.

• Collaborate with Security and Data Protection on AI controls, data handling, permissions, and risk assessments.

• Partner with IT Asset Management, Finance, and Procurement on licensing, budgets, renewals, usage reviews, and AI cost optimization.

• Facilitate business enablement through education, guidance, playbooks, showcases, office hours, and accessible resources.

• Lead and inspire the AI Champions network.

• Translate business needs into secure and supportable AI solutions in collaboration with Architecture, Engineering, Service Desk, Security, and business stakeholders.

• Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, governance artifacts, decision logs, and communications.

• Measure and report on adoption, engagement, usage, costs, risks, issues, and realized value to IT leadership and business stakeholders.

• Advocate for enterprise AI while balancing innovation with control, security, and data protection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified to A level standard or equivalent, or able to demonstrate relevant industry experience in enterprise technology, digital workplace, AI enablement, or governance.

• A strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, and enterprise productivity tools is highly desirable.

• Experience with Claude, AI platforms, agent tooling, connectors, integration governance, or similar enterprise AI capabilities would be advantageous.

• Proven experience in deploying or governing enterprise technology platforms within a complex organization.

• Strong understanding of AI adoption, enablement, change management, and safe experimentation in a business context.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Claude, AI agents, Agent Studios, MCPs, connectors, or integration-led productivity tools.

• Experience in defining standards, controls, documentation, and operational processes for technology platforms.

• Understanding of data protection, security, access control, and risk considerations associated with AI usage and enterprise integrations.

• Capability to collaborate with IT Asset Management, Finance, and Procurement to manage licensing, renewals, budgets, cost control, and usage governance.

• Experience in fostering stakeholder confidence through education, guidance, communication, workshops, and community networks.

• Ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders, holding teams accountable for their areas of responsibility while fostering positive working relationships.

• Experience in measuring adoption, engagement, risks, costs, and value through clear reporting and practical management information.

• Strong and confident communication skills.
