This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire new business and drive revenue growth by focusing on mid-market accounts.
• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to successfully close deals.
• Establish and nurture strong client relationships.
• Generate a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, collaboration with partners, and effective territory management.
• Conduct discovery calls and engage in technical sales discussions with executive-level stakeholders as well as technical and marketing buyers.
• Present compelling value propositions utilizing sales methodologies such as Force Management’s Command of Message.
• Qualify opportunities using frameworks such as MEDDIC.
• Take ownership of and exceed the annual quota by closing deals and identifying new opportunities.
• Oversee the complete sales process from lead generation to closing, emphasizing speed-to-value and customer success.
• Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting to ensure consistent revenue attainment.
• Collaborate effectively with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams.
• 7-10 years of experience in technical or MarTech SaaS sales, with a significant emphasis on outbound efforts and acquiring net new business.
• Comfortable engaging with a developer persona.
• Experience with established sales methodologies such as Force Management’s Command of the Message or Winning by Design's SPICED.
• Familiarity with qualification frameworks like MEDDIC or SPICED.
• Proven track record of generating your pipeline through outbound calling, prospecting, and identifying key targets.
• Demonstrated success in consistently closing deals and achieving or surpassing quotas.
• A resourceful and proactive mindset, capable of building pipeline and opportunities without significant lead support or brand recognition.
• Strong ability to quickly adapt to a technical sales environment, often starting with technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship building.
• Polished and professional demeanor with the capability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
• Familiarity with open-source technology is a notable advantage.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-30% of the time.
