Enrollment Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Guide prospective students through the application journey for their chosen university.

• Identify the needs and goals of prospective students through interviews.

• Assist students in evaluating whether a specific program or university aligns with their aspirations.

• Support students during the admissions and registration process to ensure all requirements and deadlines are fulfilled.

• Engage with prospective students via phone, email, and text communications.

• Adhere to departmental and management protocols for lead management and CRM status tracking.

• Offer consultative assistance from the initial lead stage through to program commencement.

• Monitor student progress and interactions within the database.

• Meet daily performance metrics related to calls, response time, conversation duration, and application submissions.

• Provide insights on the quality, quantity, and trends of leads.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally in an outbound call center environment.

• Proven critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

• General understanding of higher education and/or experience in college admissions and recruitment is preferred.

• Technically adept.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Goal-driven with a track record of achieving sales objectives.

• Supervisory management capabilities and the ability to oversee assigned tasks.

• Demonstrated ability to provide training and clarify processes and procedures.

• Familiarity with planning processes and associated challenges.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience with CRM systems is preferred.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Capable of multitasking.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• A collaborative team player.

• Understanding of the higher education and post-secondary education sector is preferred.

• A suitable home workspace equipped with a flat surface, reliable Wi-Fi, internet speeds of at least 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload, a power outlet, a quiet environment, and adequate lighting.
