English to Spanish – Life Sciences Linguist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Translate clinical research, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance documents from English into Spanish (LatAm).

• Conduct Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) for machine-translated safety content.

• Edit and review translated or post-edited materials to ensure accuracy, tone, and consistency.

• Adhere to strict, non-extendable deadlines for time-sensitive content.

• Operate within the client's CAT tool environment (XTM/Phrase).

• Utilize Track Changes in Microsoft Word based on project-specific guidelines.

• Translate clinical research documents such as protocols, synopses, IB, ICF, Patient Sheets, and Patient Diaries.

• Translate regulatory documents, including SmPC, PIL, Labels, and CTD Modules.

• Translate pharmacovigilance documents such as PSUR, DSUR, RMP, SAE, and AE.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced linguist specializing in English to Spanish (LatAm) translation of clinical trial, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory documents.

• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent), OR a recognized graduate qualification in a different field along with at least two years of full-time professional translation experience, OR a minimum of five years of full-time professional translation experience.

• At least two years of hands-on translation experience specifically in life sciences (clinical trials and pharmacovigilance) and medical documentation.

• Proficient with CAT tools (XTM/Phrase).

• Knowledgeable in using Track Changes in Microsoft Word.

• Willing to complete an assessment as part of the onboarding and quality assurance process.

• The latest English CV must accurately represent Life Sciences and Medical translation experience, years of experience in Life Sciences, types of documents translated, CAT tools utilized, email, and phone number.
