This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the Quality Management System and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Promote collaboration across regions and departments to enhance knowledge sharing and align work processes.
• Work alongside project teams to incorporate quality considerations into engineering design and development stages.
• Create training materials and deliver training sessions regarding quality procedures and requirements.
• Spearhead improvement initiatives for work processes and project team templates.
• Direct audit processes across projects to assess consistency and compliance with quality requirements and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and evaluations of engineering processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and execute corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain KPIs to measure and monitor quality metrics.
• Present quality findings to appropriate stakeholders.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to define quality requirements and conduct supplier quality assessments.
• Prepare monthly Quality Compliance reports for engineering management.
• Gather feedback on the Quality Management System and identify opportunities for revisions.
• Investigate and address customer complaints and quality-related issues.
• Implement preventive measures to avert future occurrences.
• Advocate for the documentation of lessons learned and the execution of continuous improvement actions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to proactively tackle potential quality issues.
• A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience, ideally in a consulting setting.
• Comprehensive expertise in the oil & gas, power generation, or utilities sector.
• Experience in heavy industrial engineering projects such as manufacturing, chemicals, steel, mining, or materials processing will also be considered.
• Extensive knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with quality management systems, including ISO 9001.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Solid understanding and skill in current computer software, including MS Office and design and business enterprise software.
• Proficient in project management tools and project control principles.
• Outstanding presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Capable of effectively engaging with all levels of the organization.
• Skilled in conveying complex quality information to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
• PMP Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer drug and alcohol test, including marijuana, in accordance with Federal regulations.
