Engineering Manager, Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee three specialized technical teams dedicated to computer vision, forecasting, and data platforms.

• Ensure the seamless transition of machine learning systems from research to production, delivering quantifiable real-world outcomes.

• Direct daily departmental operations, evaluate workflows, prioritize tasks, establish standards, and set timelines.

• Manage, mentor, recruit, and develop engineers and data engineers.

• Oversee the architecture of machine learning, model deployment, and the design and execution of data platforms.

• Promote best practices in model lifecycle management, data pipelines, and system reliability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Clinical, Operations, and Research departments.

• Define objectives and roadmaps for machine learning and data platforms.

• Lead distinct yet interconnected problem domains.

• Lead three highly skilled teams focused on Machine Learning Engineering for computer vision, forecasting, and the Data Platform team.

• Proven experience in managing the architecture of machine learning systems, model deployment, and the design and execution of data platforms.

• Strong understanding of machine learning model lifecycle management, data pipelines, and ensuring system reliability.

• Capability to guarantee that machine learning solutions are production-grade, scalable, observable, cost-effective, and maintainable.

• Proficient in translating business and clinical requirements into technical priorities.

• Skilled in defining goals and roadmaps for machine learning and data platforms.

• Ability to manage, mentor, recruit, and nurture engineers and data engineers across three teams.
