📋 Description

• Lead a team of skilled engineers in the development, scaling, and operation of high-quality software systems.

• Foster an environment that allows engineers to balance execution, technical excellence, and long-term sustainability.

• Define technical direction and implement robust engineering practices.

• Eliminate barriers that hinder team progress.

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse team with clear objectives and regular feedback.

• Oversee delivery planning and execution, including risk management and communication with stakeholders.

• Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) governance, aiming to shorten feedback loops, enhance releases, and minimize engineering toil.

• Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to develop customer-centric products.

• Ensure alignment of work with product strategy and customer outcomes.

• Advance the technical direction at the team level in accordance with the overarching architecture.

• Cultivate a feedback culture centered on ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Propel decision-making and execution in collaboration with Product and other stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years managing software engineering teams.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver impactful product initiatives.

• Proven record of hiring, mentoring, and managing the performance of engineers across various levels.

• Proficiency with Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis, MySQL, Postgres, and Django.

• Expertise in ad platform APIs, including Facebook, Google, and Pinterest.

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps practices.

• Over 7 years of total engineering experience working with SaaS platforms.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
