This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee, guide, and enhance the skills of team members through consistent feedback and performance evaluations.
• Establish and manage the technical vision and strategy within the designated area.
• Ensure accountability for all initiatives undertaken by the team.
• Act as a key resource for the Leadership team and significant stakeholders.
• Lead the Finance team tasked with clinic payments, invoicing, financial reporting, health insurance integrations, and related areas.
• Guarantee consistent, high-quality delivery while maintaining high operational standards.
• Collaborate with Product counterparts and Staff Engineers to influence the direction of the area and the company.
• Shape the strategic direction of the area.
• Report directly to the Engineering Director.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Solid technical foundation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to support and facilitate teams during intricate technical discussions.
• Experience in modernizing legacy systems to contemporary architectures.
• Proven track record in leading teams’ operational methodologies.
• Lean, proactive, and optimistic approach to software development.
• Capacity to balance impact with long-term, sustainable development goals.
• Strong sense of accountability in delivering high-quality solutions.
• Adopt the philosophy of “you build it, you run it.”
• Dedication to continuous learning and improvement.
• Experience in mentoring others and nurturing future mentors and leaders.
• Previous experience in fintech is advantageous.
• CV must be submitted in English.
