Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Innovate, design, and implement complex systems that influence key business goals.

• Oversee designers, business analysts, and product managers by providing delivery plans and estimates within an Agile framework.

• Develop clear career progression paths for team members through consistent and thorough mentoring.

• Conduct regular performance assessments and both provide and solicit feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in reputable product-based companies, preferably within product start-ups.

• Strong understanding of scalable web back-end, streaming, full stack development, as well as production and performance challenges, and platform technologies.

• Profound knowledge of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available environment.

• Extensive expertise with highly transactional, large relational, and complex web/desktop-based systems.

• Experience in recruiting and developing a premier engineering team and scaling the organization.

• Start-up experience is strongly preferred.

• Solid comprehension of business processes and the application of technology to enhance and streamline them.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

• Practical experience in developing, designing, and scaling complex systems both horizontally and vertically.

• Strong vision and enthusiasm for contributing to the success of an outstanding product start-up.
