This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Responsible for engineering across a portfolio of concurrently running client projects.

• Guiding the company through the transition to an agentic SDLC.

• Supporting teams in ongoing projects and resolving issues as they arise.

• Making and consulting on more complex architectural decisions.

• Ensuring technical quality and early detection of risks.

• Developing engineers and tech leads while providing constructive feedback.

• Collaborating with Key Account Managers and Project Managers.

• Reviewing proposed solutions and presenting alternative approaches.

• Assisting pre-sales and scoping by assessing feasibility, risks, and effort estimation.

• Conducting workshops with clients and explaining technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.

• Implementing agentic development, AI-supported code reviews, and test automation.

• Establishing quality standards for code and the output of agents.

• Transforming the work model towards smaller pods.

• Measuring the impact of AI adoption on the pace and quality of work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading engineers as an Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Tech Lead, or team lead.

• Experience in an agency, software house, or consulting with responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously.

• Understanding the role of a leader as someone who unlocks team potential.

• Strong architectural and systemic judgment along with technical credibility.

• Practical proficiency with agentic tools and AI-assisted development, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

• Understanding of quality drift, security risks, and prompt injection in AI-generated code.

• Ability to discuss technical choices with non-technical individuals.

• Proficiency in English.

• Polish is preferred but not required.
