This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead a team comprising 4–6 platform engineers and establish the technical direction.
• Construct and enhance CI/CD and deployment pipelines for both human and AI-agent workflows.
• Manage GCP infrastructure, Terraform configurations, monitoring, alerting, and SLOs.
• Collaborate with the CISO to define and implement Ledgy's security strategy.
• Develop AI infrastructure and agent platform capabilities, which include MCP interfaces, agent identity and access models, audit logging, dry-run, and sandbox environments.
• Mentor direct reports and facilitate career advancement through one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with the Head of Engineering and CTO to shape platform strategy.
• Define and implement a roadmap for an agent-ready platform.
• Enhance pipeline reliability, deployment velocity, developer experience, and infrastructure dependability.
• Lead engineering initiatives that impact the organization's software delivery process.
• A strong vision for modern platform engineering, integrating AI agents capable of writing, testing, and deploying code alongside humans.
• Extensive experience in CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in observability, deployment automation, developer experience, and infrastructure-as-code.
• A security-focused mindset in platform engineering, particularly regarding AI-agent access to production systems and sensitive financial information.
• Experience in developing engineers and fostering their professional growth.
• Comfortable with hands-on tasks involving Terraform, debugging pipelines, and implementing enhancements.
• Actively leverage AI tools to enhance productivity.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Engineering Management.
• Over 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Significant experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
• Familiarity with a preferred programming language/IDE for live coding interviews.
