Engineering Lead – MB-DMI Interoperability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee the establishment of rules, conventions, and digital practices necessary for machine-readable Model-Based Definition (MBD)

• Create organizational standards and tools to facilitate MBD and Model-Based Integration (MBI) initiatives

• Propel interoperability strategies in collaboration with key partners

• Guarantee uniform downstream utilization of MBD throughout Engineering, Operations, and Quality sectors

• Assist in model-based inspection processes, encompassing CMM/CAI tools and machine-readable Product Manufacturing Information (PMI)

• Work in partnership with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to enhance Pratt & Whitney’s digital thread

• Foster robust, validated, and repeatable model-centric processes that align with enterprise objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering along with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

• More than 7 years of leadership experience

• Proven experience in MBD authoring, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), PMI, and digital product specifications

• Familiarity with model-based inspection workflows, including CMM/CAI tools and machine-readable PMI

• Expertise in NX, Teamcenter, or similar CAD/PLM systems

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory

• Capability to acquire and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance

• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required from day one
