Engineer, SAP GTS Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a liaison between project and support teams by leveraging techno-functional expertise.

• Assess the feasibility of new change requests and suggest optimal solutions.

• Grasp functional designs, technical designs, and the architecture essential for ERP implementation.

• Offer product support and guidance to internal teams regarding the ERP solution.

• Address daily queries and resolve technical issues.

• Assist solutioning teams by facilitating integration into both new and existing products during testing and production phases.

• Translate business processes, requirements, and underlying ERP technology into effective ERP solutions.

• Collaborate with external implementation partners on GTS solutions and serve as an advocate for Cardinal Health.

• Create testing scripts utilizing expertise in SAP GTS Legal Control.

• Develop technical solutions for complex, large-scale projects.

• May assist in establishing policies and procedures while mentoring less experienced team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in SAP GTS.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Knowledge of GTS E4H is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of GTS Compliance legal regulations under Legal Control is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of U.S. related licenses in Legal Control is preferred.

• Profound insight into global trade compliance, including Compliance, Legal Regulations, Customs (Import/Export), Legal Control, and Risk Management is preferred.

• Proficient in integrating SAP GTS with ECC, S4/Hana, ASAPIO, and external systems.

• Skilled in designing scalable solutions that align with business needs and SAP best practices is preferred.

• Experience in configuring and customizing SAP GTS for compliance, customs management, preference management, and product classifications is preferred.

• Familiarity with OTC and P2P processes, including SD, MM, and TM integration with SAP GTS is preferred.

• Knowledge of document type mapping, item category mapping, master data transfer, and change pointers is preferred.

• Understanding of BADI enhancements in S4 for document transfer is preferred.

• Familiarity with S4-GTS integration enhancements, configuration, and reports related to document blocks and overall document processes is preferred.

• Experience in creating and reviewing solution designs and functional specifications to identify business process gaps is preferred.

• In-depth understanding of SAP GTS Legal Control tables is preferred.

• Experience integrating GTS compliance with non-SAP systems is preferred.
