Principal SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute SAP Plant Maintenance solutions for sophisticated SAP S/4HANA projects.

• Facilitate client workshops to collect and evaluate maintenance requirements, including corrective, preventive, and condition-based strategies.

• Design and set up technical objects, maintenance notifications, work orders, and maintenance plans.

• Integrate SAP PM with Materials Management, Finance and Controlling, and Project Systems.

• Coordinate design and integration aspects with both functional and technical specialists.

• Create functional specifications for customizations, reports, and interfaces.

• Supervise unit and integration testing, resolve defects, and manage user acceptance testing.

• Assist with the migration of maintenance master data.

• Provide support following the go-live phase.

• Offer advice to client maintenance and engineering leadership regarding maintenance best practices and SAP S/4HANA Asset Management.

• Deliver functional guidance and informal mentorship to consultants.

• Engage in quality assurance and information security activities.

• Execute other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) if holding a Bachelor's degree, or 10 years of relevant experience without a Bachelor's degree.

• At least two complete cycles of SAP PM implementations.

• Proficient in designing and configuring SAP PM technical objects, maintenance notifications, work orders, and maintenance plans.

• Experience in integrating SAP PM with MM, FICO, and PS.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding maintenance best practices.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a large, integrated team environment.

• Industry-recognized certification, such as SAP certification in S/4HANA Asset Management or SAP Plant Maintenance.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• An active Secret clearance (Tier 3 investigation) is required.
