Desarrollador SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement applications and extensions using SAP BTP ABAP Environment (Steampunk).

• Create solutions using ABAP Cloud and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

• Build and optimize data models utilizing ABAP CDS Views.

• Design, publish, and consume OData services and APIs for integration with SAP S/4HANA.

• Implement Side-by-Side extensions adhering to Clean Core principles.

• Develop business logic, validations, services, and technical components required by the project.

• Conduct unit testing, error analysis, optimization, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants, architects, and integration teams.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in development, security, quality, and maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including hands-on experience with modern ABAP.

• Proven experience in developing solutions within SAP BTP ABAP Environment.

• Solid knowledge of ABAP Cloud and object-oriented programming (ABAP OO).

• Practical experience with RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).

• Proficiency in CDS Views, OData, and REST APIs.

• Experience in integration with SAP S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with Eclipse and ABAP Development Tools (ADT).

• Knowledge of Side-by-Side extensibility and Clean Core principles.

• Participation in greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation projects (desirable).

• Experience with SAP Fiori Elements and SAPUI5 (desirable).

• Understanding of SAP BTP Integration Suite (desirable).

• Experience with Git, version control, and DevOps development practices (desirable).

• Knowledge of SAP business processes in retail, logistics, finance, or procurement (desirable).

• SAP certifications related to ABAP Cloud, SAP BTP, or S/4HANA (desirable).

• Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical requirements.
