This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and manage the essential data infrastructure and platform services that support CrowdStrike's analytics ecosystem.
• Set up, configure, and oversee Airflow and Superset within production settings.
• Handle infrastructure-as-code for data platform elements using Terraform.
• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflow deployments.
• Establish and uphold platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Create and maintain data models utilizing DBT and catalog assets in OpenMetadata.
• Produce efficient Python code for automating platform processes and data handling.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Occasionally complete and pass additional background and fingerprint checks in alignment with government client requirements.
• Must have eligibility for CJIS clearance (requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of combined experience in infrastructure and data engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming (5+ years).
• In-depth knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and management.
• Significant experience in deploying and overseeing Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI, including IAM, networking, and managed services.
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
• Experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes and/or Docker in production environments.
• Familiarity with DBT and OpenMetadata.
• Expertise in SQL and data modeling.
• Understanding of data security and compliance regulations.
• Proven experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, boost efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• Additional background and fingerprint checks in accordance with government client requirements.
• Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Experience with cybersecurity data (preferred).
• Contributions to open-source initiatives (preferred).
• Familiarity with machine learning pipelines (preferred).
