This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Act as a fired equipment specialist/engineer for clients in specific geographic areas

• Deliver combustion solutions for various equipment such as furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, and related technologies

• Utilize problem-solving abilities across diverse markets, customer needs, and equipment types

• Travel to various facilities to troubleshoot equipment problems

• Upgrade technologies to meet environmental standards

• Address combustion issues for refining and petrochemical clients with assistance from a global team

• Leverage combustion knowledge to offer services and solutions for clients and expand business within the assigned region

• Aid in assessing fired equipment for mechanical integrity, operational effectiveness, estimated remaining useful life, failures, and malfunctions

• Design technical and operational solutions

• Recommend maintenance requirements for repairs and evaluate completed maintenance for appropriateness

• Examine spare parts inventory and inventory levels

• Conduct preliminary surveys of heaters and furnaces

• Create and report on the pre-turnaround scope

• Inspect equipment received on-site and ensure proper alignment of installed equipment

• Support commissioning and startup processes

• Collaborate with Zeeco subject matter experts on-site for consultation

• Develop inquiry scopes for comprehensive solutions

• Integrate and accelerate Zeeco applications and project teams

• Organize training and educational opportunities

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

• Proven experience with fired equipment and combustion systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Willingness to travel frequently for site visits
