Employee Relations Partner

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Collaborate closely with the People Partner and Legal teams on matters related to employee relations.

β€’ Provide consultation on intricate employee relations challenges, including performance management, workplace disputes, and violations of policy.

β€’ Work alongside business leaders to propose actions regarding employee performance issues, including the editing and implementation of Corrective Action Plans.

β€’ Partner with the ER Manager and Legal to carry out internal investigations concerning discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and policy breaches.

β€’ Utilize the employee relations case management system to record cases and monitor the progress of investigations and performance cases.

β€’ Identify gaps within the Employee Relations team and propose solutions to address these opportunities.

β€’ Monitor employee data, metrics, and trends to pinpoint areas for process improvement.

β€’ Foster a culture that embraces the employee relations team through effective communication and training initiatives.

β€’ Assist in the design and delivery of training programs for People Managers on topics related to employee relations.

β€’ Keep abreast of changes in employment law.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (such as employee relations, HR generalist, HR business partner, or labor/employment law) is required.

β€’ A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

β€’ Equivalent experience in employee relations and/or HR-related certifications may be taken into account.

β€’ Proficiency in workplace investigations, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

β€’ Thorough knowledge of US employment law, EEO regulations, and laws pertaining to workplace anti-discrimination and accommodations, including Title VII, the ADA, the FMLA, and their state law counterparts.

β€’ Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to effectively and efficiently manage multiple priorities.

β€’ Ability to uphold confidentiality and exercise the utmost discretion.

β€’ Capability to remain tactful, composed, and persuasive in challenging or confrontational situations.

β€’ Strong communication abilities, with the talent to convey key points, risks, and the rationale behind recommendations.

β€’ Previous experience in project management is preferred.
