Employee Assistance Program Clinical Counselor – Shift: Sat-Wed 4:00 PM-12:30 AM EST

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Provide on-demand consultations, clinical evaluations, triage, and information services on a single-session basis.

• Utilize advanced technology platforms to improve the customer experience and connect members with suitable solutions.

• Assist members through phone, video, or chat to deliver personalized and effective care.

• Offer immediate, round-the-clock access to mental health support for members across the nation.

• Work the Saturday to Wednesday schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM EST.

• Support a 24/7 call center operation with schedules that may evolve over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active, unrestricted independent professional behavioral health clinical license (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LCMHC, LICSW, or Clinical Psychologist) in the state where the candidate will be employed.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in crisis intervention.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong multitasking capabilities.

• Proficiency with various technology platforms and tools.

• Preferred: Experience working in a call center environment.

• Preferred: Experience providing services via chat, video, and phone.

• Preferred: Strong skills in building rapport with clients.

• Preferred: Experience facilitating positive behavioral changes.

• Preferred: Over 1 year of experience in EAP, Behavioral Health, or Social Services.

• Preferred: Experience with diverse populations.

• Preferred: Knowledge of brief therapy models, including Single Session Consultation.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing techniques.

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral health or counseling discipline.
