Emergency Services Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide expert travel advice and arrangements for corporate clients, whether individuals or groups.

• Conduct analysis and research to explore travel options.

• Anticipate the needs of travelers proactively and promote additional services.

• Organize and reserve domestic and international business travel, including air, road, rail, and accommodations.

• Utilize the Amadeus Global Distribution System effectively.

• Ensure adherence to the agreed-upon travel policies of customers, service provider regulations, and legal requirements.

• Employ positive telephone service techniques to enhance client interactions.

• Respond to special requests from customers with care.

• Work collaboratively with the team to mentor, coach, and provide constructive feedback to elevate service standards.

• Deliver service as part of the 24/7 After Hours Traveler Care operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least two years of expertise in GDS, specifically with Amadeus.

• Proficiency in German, both written and spoken, at a native or full working level.

• Proficiency in English and any additional European language is considered an advantage.

• A strong commitment to excellence in customer service, including the proactive identification of client needs.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Capability to act with integrity and maintain the confidentiality of personal traveler information.

• Solid understanding of the travel industry, encompassing business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation experience.

• Ability to swiftly and independently resolve customer issues, or in collaboration with suppliers.

• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to accept feedback.
