This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +4 more states.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to final handover.
• Create comprehensive project plans and timelines utilizing project management software.
• Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational workflows and business goals.
• Manage project budgets, including capital and labor costs, revenue, and margin health.
• Conduct formal financial reviews with leadership.
• Supervise change control processes and facilitate the transition from legacy systems to NG911 infrastructure.
• Maintain risk registers and develop mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, subcontractors, and enterprise partners.
• Lead project kick-off meetings, executive steering committee sessions, and stakeholder status reviews.
• Manage intricate software and system integrations vital for public safety infrastructure.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Capability to obtain necessary security clearance as mandated by government contracts.
• Proficient in MS Project, Smartsheet, cloud-based collaboration tools, Google Workspace, or similar software.
• Experienced in applying PMBOK standards.
• PMP or CAPM certifications are preferred.
• Expertise in public safety communications related to NG911 solutions, emergency call handling software, or dispatch infrastructure.
• Exceptional command of both written and spoken English.
• A strong focus on customer success during deployment phases.
• Experience in financial management, specifically in analyzing project costs, expediting revenue recognition, and controlling operational expenses.
• Background in risk assessment, particularly in implementing mitigation strategies during complex rollouts.
• Proven experience in collaborating with stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Preferred knowledge of Police, Fire, or EMS operational workflows.
