Electrical Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review and analyze construction documents, which include drawings, specifications, and narratives.

• Engage in client and internal project kickoff meetings.

• Develop and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) and gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Execute electrical quantity take-offs utilizing OST, Sage, BIM, and various estimating software.

• Implement appropriate unit pricing based on historical data, vendor quotes, and market benchmarks.

• Perform comparative cost analyses to uncover opportunities for budget alignment.

• Foster strong, positive working relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Generate organized and standardized estimate reports for both client and internal use.

• Deliver estimates promptly and ensure timely follow-up with clients.

• Assist with closeout documentation efforts as necessary.

• Contribute to enhancements in electrical estimating processes and best practices.

• Undertake other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preference for familiarity with building electrical systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Experience with OST or similar estimating software is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
