Electrical Engineer, PE I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the development of technical design solutions and/or studies.

• Serve as the technical authority and provide direction as Engineer of Record (EOR).

• Create electrical engineering designs, studies, and solutions as a member of an integrated project team.

• Analyze, develop, and assess systems.

• Enhance and maintain existing systems or initiate new projects.

• Design and create blueprints.

• Conduct field visits to systems.

• Oversee project management.

• Implement engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.

• Execute work with minimal oversight.

• Address complex issues and challenges, escalating only the most intricate problems to senior staff.

• Offer leadership, guidance, and/or mentorship to a subordinate team.

• May take on the role of lead or first-level supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Professional Engineer (PE) License.

• 4–6 years of relevant experience.

• Strong expertise in REVIT.

• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• In-depth understanding of the subject matter.

• Strong critical thinking abilities.

• Detail-oriented with the capability to manage various ongoing projects in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to perform responsibilities outside the primary scope of work when necessary.

• Preferred experience in designing Healthcare projects.

• Preferred experience in designing Higher Education projects.

• Preferred experience in designing Central Energy Plant (CEP) electrical infrastructure projects.

• Preferred experience in designing medium-voltage protection and power distribution systems.

• Preferred experience in designing parallel generator systems at medium voltage and below.
