📋 Description

• Oversee the provision of technical application support to both Sales and Operations teams, serving as a subject matter expert in electrical systems and power solutions.

• Assess and confirm intricate customer requirements, designs, and technical specifications to devise safe, dependable, and cost-efficient solutions.

• Assist the Sales team during customer interactions, bid preparation, and proposal formulation for complex projects.

• Collaborate with Project Design, Engineering, and Sales teams to guarantee that system designs are precise, compliant, and suitable for their intended purpose.

• Offer technical advice and assistance throughout project planning, execution, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases.

• Mentor teams and share technical best practices to enhance local project capabilities.

• Provide guidance to the Commercial and Business Development teams on the technical elements of bids, tenders, and customer proposals.

• Handle and resolve intricate engineering and application-related inquiries.

• Ensure adherence to electrical codes, engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.

• Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation, or eligibility for registration in Canada, is a significant advantage.

• Over 8 years of engineering experience delivering technical support in power generation, electrical equipment, utilities, industrial, construction, or similar sectors.

• Strong comprehension of electrical systems, power distribution, load calculations, equipment sizing, electrical design, and power generation applications.

• Proven experience in developing and assessing technical solutions for intricate customer needs and project environments.
