This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the electrical aspects of projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, which includes feasibility assessments, detailed design, procurement support, site construction, and commissioning.

• Work collaboratively with engineers involved in resources/industrial, transport, water, and building projects.

• Offer technical guidance on local sustaining capital projects and studies.

• Assist with ANZ industrial decarbonisation initiatives.

• Mentor, develop, and provide guidance to junior engineers.

• Contribute to the growth of the team's size and capabilities.

• Strengthen local electrical engineering skills, capacity, and client relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Demonstrated engineering/design experience in the mining, local government, or heavy industry sectors.

• Familiarity with industrial systems, including HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems, and motor controls.

• Skilled in creating engineering documentation such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports, and scopes of work.

• Excellent communication and technical skills.

• Capable of working on mining, industrial, and civil infrastructure projects.

• Proven ability to mentor, develop, and guide junior engineers.
