This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Execute engineering tasks related to electrical power, lighting, and/or low voltage systems for electrical construction projects under supervision.

• Offer guidance to Level 1 Engineers and Designers.

• Conduct detailed calculations to set construction standards and specifications.

• Prepare and review technical drawings and electrical specifications.

• Design layouts for electrical construction projects.

• Carry out field surveys and identify as well as resolve power system issues.

• Collaborate with both internal and external customers regarding construction projects.

• Ensure that construction activities are in compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.

• Inspect finished installations to verify adherence to design and equipment specifications.

• Gather data and compose reports on engineering studies and projects.

• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with 2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, or an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology with 6 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.

• Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit is required.

• Familiarity with the National Electric Code (NEC).

• Willingness to travel 5–10% of the time.

• Availability to work Monday–Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM.
