EH&S Sustainability Co-op, Summer/Fall 2027

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Support the Central EH&S team in monitoring the execution of EH&S initiatives and projects throughout the organization.

• Conduct data entry and validation within the EH&S reporting system.

• Aid in assessing the feasibility of renewable energy initiatives within Collins operations.

• Assist the Central EH&S team in tracking corrective actions associated with EH&S compliance and audits.

• Explore renewable energy possibilities.

• Oversee corrective actions pertaining to EH&S compliance and audits.

• Gain knowledge about sustainability initiatives and best practices across a varied portfolio of aerospace businesses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM field.

• Must be actively enrolled until the completion of the internship/co-op period.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience in delivering presentations using data visualization tools to convey production metrics or project updates to cross-functional teams or leadership.

• Relevant experience may be gained through on-the-job training, research, coursework, or projects.

• U.S. citizenship is necessary.

• Security clearance is not required.
